Easterseals Bay Area California Takes on New Name to Represent Services Across Northern California


Bay Area-based non-profit announces its renaming to ‘Easterseals Northern California’ to represent its geographical span in providing a variety of disability services to children, adults and families

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today, Easterseals Northern California (ESNorCal), previously ‘Easterseals Bay Area,’ announced its new name which better reflects the twenty-four counties in which the organization provides services. The behavioral health non-profit, founded in 1927, headquartered in Walnut Creek offers services and programming at eight clinical centers and spans Alameda, Butte, Colusa, Contra Costa, Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Marin, Mendocino, Modoc, Napa, Plumas, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Solano, Sonoma, Tehama and Trinity counties.

Easterseals Northern California currently employs nearly 300 practitioners to provide clinical services to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down syndrome, cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities.
